Fitness and Nutrition Services
Fitness and Nutrition Coaching don’t have to be out of reach. In fact, with distance coaching, they could be just a few clicks away.
Benefits of Online Coaching
Flexibility: We all have busy schedules. Sometimes, you just don’t have time to make an appointment with a coach at the gym. With online coaching, you can go to the gym whenever you want. Bring your phone with you and your program is right in your pocket!
Affordability: A month of online coaching costs less than a few hours of fitness or nutrition coaching at many gyms.
Accountability: I know if you’ve checked into your lessons and workouts. I know if you’re sticking to the program or if you need a nudge in the right direction. If I see you slipping, we can set up a phone call to figure out how to overcome your obstacles.
Benefits of Online Coaching with Coach Shannon
Fitness Expertise: I’m a NASM-Certified Personal Trainer with over 5 years of experience working with a wide range of women. I’ve helped people work around injuries, get stronger, lose weight, and feel better in and about their bodies. I will get to know you and your goals, and set up a program that helps you meet them, safely.
Nutrition Expertise: I’m a Level 2 Precision Nutrition Coach who has worked with dozens of women as they’ve tried to develop healthier eating and lifestyle habits. I take a holistic approach to nutrition coaching—it’s not only about what you’re eating, it’s also about how you’re eating and why you’re eating. Using the one-habit method for sustainable change, I can help you figure out how to change habits that just aren’t working for you anymore, like emotional eating, boredom eating, and stress eating.
Body Positive Focus: Human bodies are amazing — yours included. Many people worry that their fitness or nutrition coaches will judge them for not fitting into some mythical “ideal” body type. That’s not what Fitness for Feminists is about. I don’t believe that your body type is indicative of your overall health. Health is supported by the choices you make, not the size of your jeans. My goal is to help you feel better in and about your body, whether that’s by moving better, getting stronger, or even through weight loss. No matter what your goal is, I want to help you build a stronger relationship with your body — to focus on what your body can do, not just on what it looks like.
